Kontakt 6 fl studio route midi channels

I've tried opening a separate instance of Kontakt, but that still leaves me with the same midi channels (if I have one instrument in each instance both assigned to midi channel 1 and I press a key on my keyboard, it will play both instruments). In Kontakt I can assign each instrument to one of 16 midi channels, which is fine until I need more than 16 separate instruments each with their own separate midi data. In my midi settings, I have this controller connected to port 0.

So I reroute it so the track sends its midi info to the track with Kontakt on midi channel 2, for example. So if you have 6 separate tracks in ableton, each one would be routed to the track with Kontakt and each one would be sending midi from channels 1-6 respectively. I have one piano I use as my only midi controller (a Kawai MP7 if that helps) and I want to be able to use more than 16 midi channels in FL Studio. Hopefully that makes sense and you can translate that info to FL knowledge. I'm fairly new at this so I'm probably missing something obvious, but it's been bugging me so I'll swallow my pride and ask anyways.
